Welcome to the first major update for Hytale Early Access! This patch introduces new environmental content, significant quality-of-life improvements, and a host of bug fixes as we continue to refine the game based on community feedback. Our commitment remains to provide frequent updates to enhance your adventure in Orbis.
World & Environment Updates
- New Underground Inhabitants: Dinosaurs and other NPCs have been added to populate underground jungles. Note: These use placeholder behaviors and require newly generated chunks to appear.
- Enhanced Atmospherics: Devastated Lands sewers now have proper environmental effects and creature spawns. Areas beneath volcanoes now use volcanic ambiance.
- World Polish: Fixed entity placements, textures, and interiors in Feran villages. Removed an invisible block behind the bench in the Forgotten Temple.

- UI & Tooltip Clarity: Wood Logs now display their type (e.g., "Hardwood"). Recipes requiring specific logs now show which trees drop them. The Woodcutter's Block is now correctly classified as decorative furniture.
- Utility Fixes: Dropped items no longer get stuck on block sides. Torches can now be placed from the Utility Slot while holding a pickaxe/hatchet.
Audio & Visual Effects Polish
