Hytale is Here: The Early Access Journey Begins

After a remarkable community-led revival, Hytale has officially launched into Early Access. This release marks a pivotal moment: for the first time, players can directly shape the future of this ambitious game. While this version is unpolished and incomplete, it represents a solid foundation built upon years of development and two intense months of focused work by a newly independent studio. We invite you to join us in this collaborative, foundational phase of development.

A Note on the Early Access Experience

This is a true Early Access release. Players should expect missing features, unbalanced systems, and bugs. The development team, reassembled and working independently for only two months, has prioritized getting a playable build into the community's hands. Demand is high, and the launch week may be bumpy, but the goal is to include everyone in this foundational stage of Hytale's evolution.

From Revival to Release: A Community Triumph

The path to this launch is a testament to community passion. Following the #savehytale movement, the original founders returned to revive the project. In just eight weeks, the team merged hundreds of code branches, fixed core systems (camera, movement, combat, crafting), squashed thousands of bugs, and added new features to a 4+ year-old codebase. This Early Access build is the first tangible result of that monumental effort.

The initial launch focuses on core creative and exploratory systems, laying the groundwork for the richer Adventure Mode to come.
